The seismic sensor SD-2 converts ground vibrations caused by an intruder at the moment of penetration into the protected perimeter into an electrical signal using the piezoelectric effect. The seismic sensor is characterized by the highest sensitivity due to the use of a special mechanical signal amplifier operating in the entire band of processed frequencies.

Placing sensors at a distance of five meters from each other guarantees the detection of an intruder in any weather conditions (including partial waterlogging) in any type of soil.

Sensors can be buried: - In front of or under the fence to detect the fact of the approach of the intruder to the protected perimeter even before touching the fence - Inside the protected perimeter to detect the immediate fact of overcoming the perimeter - In any place where detection of people or equipment is required, regardless of the presence of physical fences there, including for the formation of an invisible guard line

The high sensitivity of the SD-2 sensors allows them to be used to protect capital fences made of concrete or brick, both from destruction and from climbing.
