Triboelectric cable TD-1 - converts the vibrations of the fence caused by the intruder at the moment of penetration into the protected perimeter into an electrical signal due to the triboelectric effect. The cable is the cheapest and simplest sensitive element - installation consists in attaching the cable to the protected surface with the help of cable ties. If the cable is broken or damaged during operation, it can be repaired without the use of special tools.

TD-1 can be used in three options for building a guard line: 1) The cable can be mounted directly to a mesh or wire fence, a fence made of thin boards, a picket fence, thin metal (corrugated board) or polycarbonate. Thus, it is possible to protect the perimeter both from climbing the fence, and from its destruction (overshot, bending, etc.).

2. The cable can be mounted to a hinged fence made of barbed spirals, canopies made of tin or polycarbonate. In this way, it is possible to protect against climbing the fence by a trained intruder using a ladder or to protect capital fences made of concrete or brick.

3. The TD-1 cable buried in the ground can be used as an anti-undermining tool. The sensitivity of the cable is sufficient to detect a person digging the ground with a bayonet shovel at a distance of one to five meters, depending on the type of soil and detector settings. Detection of earthworks using heavy equipment is possible at a distance of up to thirty meters, which allows the cable to be used as a security or warning tool for underground utilities.
