The VD-2 vibration sensor converts the vibrations of the fence caused by the intruder at the moment of penetration into the protected perimeter into an electrical signal using the piezoelectric effect. The main difference between the VD-2 sensor and the TD-1 cable is the localization of sensitivity in the place of the direct installation of the sensor, which allows for a more flexible approach to choosing the location of the sensor (for example, to mount it on gates or gates) and reduces the negative effects from vibrations of poorly fixed sections of the fence relative to support pillars.

VD-2 is mounted directly to a mesh or wire fence, a fence made of thin boards, a picket fence, thin metal (profiled) or polycarbonate. Thus, it is possible to protect the perimeter both from climbing the fence, and from its destruction (overshot, bending, etc.). It is recommended to place the sensors five meters apart or on each section of the fence.
